Braces and supports
Braces used to provide seismic restraint to components of engineering systems should be designed to match or exceed the earthquake load demands determined earlier in the design process.
Typical bracing components to restrain a piped service.
Structural steel braces and fasteners must be fabricated to comply with the material standards and grades specified in NZS 4219:2009 Table 12.
